Focused Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who are a well known, successful manufacturing company within the Blackwood area who are seeking a Production Machine Operator to join their team.
Hours of work:Initially working on a 2 shift rotating pattern Monday - Friday. No weekends & overtime also available. Early finishes on Fridays.
- Day shift - 06:00am - 14:00pm
- Afternoon shift - 14:00pm - 22:00pm
Duties of the role:- Operating a range of production machinery & equipment.
- Working toward daily/ weekly production targets & KPI's
- Set production machinery and run production change over.
- Proficiently use Micrometers, Vernier's, and Dial Test Indicators. previous experience would be an advantage however not essential.
- Assess quality of finished product.
- Monitoring / overseeing full production process from start to finish.
- Wrapping, banding and palletising of finalised product.
The desired candidates:- Able to work to targets/production KPI's & production schedules.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Previous relevant manufacturing /production experience.
- Knowledge of health and safety in the work place.
